Andrea has an extensive background in government and public affairs and in communicating public policy issues to a broad range of stakeholders and coalitions.  Most recently, Andrea was the Government Relations Manager for the Greater Houston Partnership – the primary advocate for Houston’s business community.  While at GHP, Andrea created and implemented the “Power Hour” series aimed at educating member companies on legislative issues impacting the Houston business community.  This series continues to provide members an opportunity to engage with local, state and federal lawmakers in issue-specific forums.

Prior to joining GHP, Andrea served as the Public Affairs & Marketing Manager for the City of Oklahoma City.  Andrea developed and directed the public engagement and public relations campaigns for Project 180: a comprehensive four year, $140 million redesign of downtown streets, sidewalks, parks and plazas.

In 2009, Andrea was asked to join the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce as their MAPS3 Campaign Manager.  She managed campaign staff in all aspects of coalition development in order to pass a seven-year, nine-month one-cent sales tax for eight diverse economic development projects for Oklahoma City
