Uptown Houston District
Delia Mizwa joined the Uptown Houston District 15 years ago as Director of Marketing and Communications. Among other responsibilities, she is tasked with creating and maintaining a brand identity for Uptown Houston; building relationships with the Uptown community and media to communicate Uptown projects; producing the Uptown Houston Holiday Lighting, Houston’s most beloved event to kick-off the holiday season; and currently building a brand identity, strategy and communications plan for the construction of the Post Oak Boulevard Dedicated Bus Lanes project.
Before joining the Uptown Houston District in 2000, Delia held positions as Public Relations and Publicity Director for the Houston Museum of Natural Science, Gulf Greyhound Park and Six Flags AstroWorld. A native Houstonian, Delia has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of St. Thomas. She and her husband Steve have two daughters, Hannah and Holly, and live in Seabrook.
